Short Bio

Jakub Dolezal received the BSc and MSc degree in Computer Science from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic in 2008 and 2010, respectively. Currently, he works towards the PhD degree at the Department of Telecommunication Engineering at the same university, his fields are Mobile Computing and Augmented Reality. Jakub joined FP7 TROPIC project founded by European Commission in order to design and develop demonstration of computation offloading from a smart device to Mobile Edge Cloud (MEC). To achieve this goal, an Augmented Reality app has been created and become part of newly assembled MEC testbed. The app is being perpetually extended towards deeper Cloud integration. He was a member of R&D Centre for Mobile Application ( from 2008 to 2013, where he rose up to a position of leader of Voice Services project funded by IBM Research and Vodafone Foundation. The project was focused on distributed software architecture and middleware for speech-oriented services.
